Designer’s brain, Director’s Vision
Hi, I’m Chava and I am so happy you are here. When you work with me, you get a designer’s brain as well as a director’s brain. My work is heavily influenced by my background in visual art and mask design as well as anthropology, and I infuse my work with the connections I see across cultures, religions, and peoples. In my mind, each scene I stage is like a well crafted painting. I am highly versatile – from Shakespeare and Restoration drama, to modern and contemporary drama, to new play development, to devised work, I hone in on the pivotal, human moments in each. I love wowing my audiences by creating a unique and enjoyable journey as well as literal art on stage. If you want an artist with fresh and interesting ideas and a professional that delivers at the highest quality, I am your director.
